HALEIWA, Oahu/Hawaii (vendredi 3 février 2017)--2015 Big Wave World Champion Makuakai Rothman (HAW) a profité des tubes de surf pendant le Volcom Pipe Pro, un événement de qualification de la ligue mondiale de Surf (WSL) série (QS) 3 000 et a scoré un 10 parfait . Il s’agit de la première apparition de Rothman en compétition depuis la Vans Triple Crown manifestations de l’an dernier, après qu’il a été blessé à Puerto Escondido en juin 2016 lors de la tournée de big wave.
